So, three blades are not enough for you, then how ‘bout four blades? Oh you want more. Okay, okay I got this. How ‘bout five? YES! Great.
Panasonic introduces to you their newest line and with a new addition. The world’s first 5 blade cutting system designed with the fast linear motor delivering 14,000 cycles per minute. Not only is this shaver the first 5-blade and the fast linear motor but it is also sexy looking. The shaver has the best of both worlds, great on the inside and sexy on the outside. Read on about the best electric razor on the market.
5 BLADES
You would think a shaver that can power 14,000 CPM would be associated with noise—not this shaver—it’s surprisingly a quiet shaver given all the power its packed with.
The five floating blades are integrated with multi-pivoting heads that deliver a great close shave and this shaver utilizes ultra thin foils that will lift the hairs up and cut close to skin level without discomfort or leaving breakouts.
AUTO CLEANING STATION
If you noticed the top description listed two models instead of one. It’s because there is virtually no difference in the two models aside from the missing cleaning station that the ES-LV-61 doesn’t come with—you will have to manually clean.
And now back to the ES-LV81-K cleaning station.
The cleaning station needs 10 minutes to run its full cleaning/washing cycle then an additional 2hours for the shaver to be dried. To keep it running as smooth as possible don’t interrupt the cleaning/drying process.
IS IT WORTH THE PRICE
I would have to say it is worth the asking price but if you don’t use an electric shaver on a daily basis or have little hair to work with then I would opt for these Panasonic shaver models, the arc 3 or arc 4 as those two series have reduced in price since the introduction of the arc 5 and they work just as efficient.
Also if you have sensitive skin or a thicker beard this shaver works great and I like the ultra-thin foils because it lifts the flat-lying hairs up from your face before it cuts it leaving no chance for skin irritations.
FINAL ANALYSIS
It was hard for me to locate any flaws with this shaver aside from the cost. I don’t see the need for the 5th blade but it is great to have if I’ve missed a couple of days and don’t want to suffer with the tugging.
I like the minimum (if any) razor burns, breakouts, and redness of the skin this skin gives. Good job Panasonic—you’ve given us another ace!
